ABOUT ERIMUS
Erimus Singers is a small chamber choir, made up of highly experienced singers from the Tees Valley area.
Led by Director John Dixon and accompanied by pianist Jenny Hesford, the Singers present an impressive repertoire of complex and challenging choral music, from Renaissance to Contemporary classical.
We are regularly invited to give concerts across the length and breadth of the Tees Valley, from Darlington to Saltburn, from Stokesley to Hartlepool.
Our name, Erimus, derives from the Latin motto of Middlesbrough ('we shall be'): a nod to our original home in Middleborough Town Hall, and reflecting our ambition as a choir to bring the highest quality of choral music to our home towns and beyond.
